Lesvos –the third biggest island in Greece-is situated in the North East of the Aegean Sea. It was the dreamy island of Arion, Sappho, Odysseas Elytis, Mirivilis and Argiris Eftaliotis .For all residents and visitors is a beautiful island with tranquil beaches and great historical heritage. All this beauty is surrounded by pine and olives trees which are so dominant on the island.
Mithimna - one of the oldest villages in Lesvos- is built on a hill which ends in the blue sea. On the top of the hill you notice the Venetian castle which seems to be the crown of the traditional village.
